The Mail-in Repair Process
Once we receive your shipment, an experienced technician will contact you to explain the diagnosis and give you an estimate of the time and cost required to restore your device. Upon your approval, we will get to work so that you aren’t without your beloved gadget for long!
Step 1 - Documentation
Fill out our mail-in repair form, print it(Here). Please fill out the form, read the waiver at the bottom and sign off to complete the document.
Print off Page 1 to include in your shipment.
Page 2 has a mailing label you can fill out and affix to the outside of the box.
Step 2 - Packaging and shipment
Please remove any password protection from devices before mailing. Carefully pack your device into an appropriately sized box and ship via the method of your choosing to our repair center (Don't forget to include the repair document).Address: Micromedics Service Department 620 King Edward Street Winnipeg, MB R3H 0P2 Canada
No need to mail common controllers or cables.
If you're not sure if what you have is "common", just ask!
Step 3 - Diagnosis & Approval
Once we receive your package we will diagnose the system. Our team of highly trained technicians will assess your system and give you a call/email with a quote of what the cost will be to fix your system.
With your approval, we will proceed with the repairs and call you for payment once the work is completed.
Step 4 - Payment
Payment can be made to our email service(at)cdccomputers.com. via Email Money Transfer or Paypal (please make sure fees are paid for).
Alternatively you can call our office to make payment via Credit Card.
Step 5 - Return shipment and rates
After payment is processed your device will be re-packaged and mailed back to you. Our return shipping rates are marked below.
Very large parcels may be subject to higher rates.
All prices are in Canadian dollars.
Canada Zone 1: $35 (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba)
Canada Zone 2 : $45 (Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island)
